Where in Ireland?

For those of you who don't know much about Western European geography, Ireland is the western most of two large islands in north west Europe, the other being made up of England, Scotland and Wales. The island of Ireland is made up of two parts: Northern Ireland, part of the United Kingdom; and Eire, or the Irish Republic.

We have moved to the west coast of Ireland, to County Mayo, indicated by the red box. Here is a more detailed map of Mayo:

We are initially staying, and would like to remain, in "cabbage town", between Mwewillin and Currane. Cabbage town is a patch of land between the road and the shore, an area of approximately five acres owned by Jane's parents. We may build a second house if we can find a way of doing it without annoying John & Brigid!
